Plexus Pathology
Imaging either the brachial or lumbar plexus brings several imaging issues to overcome:
- Small anatomy
- Long and tortuous nerve routes
- Arteries and veins parallel to nerves
- Surrounding fat
- Respiratory motion (brachial plexus)
There are a few key imaging approaches to keep in mind to overcome these challenges
